About me

I'm Sen Liao, holding a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electronic and Information Technology from Technische Universität München (TUM).

My professional journey bridges embedded systems, network engineering, and IT infrastructure, evolving toward my long-term goal — becoming an infrastructure architect specializing in network, cloud, and system design.

I work as a Network Engineer at H3C Germany, where I design and validate enterprise network or datacenter network and IT solutions across routing, switching, Firewall, WLAN, and virtualization platforms (UIS, CAS, Onestor, IMC, Adcampus (ADN)).

My work covers data center and campus network design, authentication systems (802.1X, Portal, MAC, 3A), and PoC testing, integrating technical troubleshooting with customer-oriented solution delivery.

Before joining H3C, I gained experience in embedded and semiconductor systems through roles at Infineon AG, BMW AG, and Huawei, where I worked on:

Non-intrusive task monitoring and AUTOSAR-based ECU automation
FPGA and IC design projects using VHDL, C++, and MATLAB/Simulink
Automotive diagnostics, RTOS testing, and Python-based test automation

These experiences strengthened my understanding of system-level architecture — from hardware to software to network layers.

Fluent in English, German, and Chinese, I thrive in multicultural, cross-functional teams, bridging technical and communication gaps to deliver solutions that scale.

Configure and validate routing and switching features, including DHCP, NAT, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, and EVPN, for enterprise and data center networks.
Deploy and maintain virtualization and cloud platforms such as H3C UIS and CAS, as well as IMC (Intelligent Management Center), Application-Driven Campus Network (ADcampus) ****for unified network and device management.
Implement and troubleshoot network access authentication, including 802.1X, Portal, MAC authentication, and 3A (TACACS/RADIUS) solutions across campus and wireless networks.
